Dr. R. William Soller, Chief Academic Officer, reminded graduates that their degrees sit at a rare intersection of science, engineering, medicine, and humanity, and that the responsibility carried by that intersection is as real as its privilege. He spoke about the technologies reshaping medicine today, from AI-driven diagnostics to robotic surgery, and challenged graduates to meet that progress with rigor, integrity, and empathy in equal measure. One Shared Foundation, Many Paths

The ceremony closed the way these mornings should: with photographs, a shared meal, and conversations likely to turn into future collaborations. Some graduates are headed into industry to design the next generation of life-saving devices.
