Building on the GCP and early-phase foundation of the Introductory level, this Advanced course develops the confirmatory, post-approval and innovative-design disciplines that complete a clinical-development program.

This 32-hour Professional Certificate Course covers Phase III confirmatory trials (randomization, blinding, control), Phase IV pharmacovigilance and real-world evidence, adaptive designs and master protocols (basket, umbrella, platform) informed by FDA’s adaptive-design guidance, and considerations for vulnerable populations (pediatric, geriatric, oncologic) and global trials.

By the end, participants can draft a clinical-trial protocol outline and a monitoring-plan element and identify when an adaptive design or master protocol is appropriate for a given indication.

The Advanced course connects confirmatory and post-approval trials with adaptive designs and master protocols, preparing participants for clinical-development and regulatory roles in oncology, rare disease and global programs.

Participants who meet the course completion requirements receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Aleph University.
