Every time we review a scholarship application, we ask the same question first: can this candidate become a real contributor to the future of healthcare technologies?

That question is where our scholarship program starts. At Aleph University we do not see student funding as a discount to fill seats. We see it as part of our purpose: to contribute to better healthcare technologies by training the professionals the industry needs, including those who cannot pay full tuition.

So when cost is what stands between a qualified professional and a specialized master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs, Medical Devices or Innovation, our answer is concrete. The Aleph Scholarship for Master’s Students can cover up to 50% of each semester’s tuition.

Our philosophy, in one decision

Aleph University was founded on a specific conviction: specialized knowledge in healthcare technologies (regulatory affairs, quality and innovation) should not be reserved for people who already have the resources. The healthcare sector moves faster when more capable people can get in.

Our teaching model reflects the same idea: live synchronous classes with real interaction, faculty who work in the industry, and programs designed so that what you learn on Monday you can use at work on Tuesday. The scholarship applies that philosophy to access. If you have the profile, cost should not be the reason you wait.

How the scholarship works

The Aleph Scholarship for Master’s Students is a need-based scholarship. It is available to graduate applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, and it can cover up to fifty percent (50%) of each semester’s total tuition.

Applications are reviewed by the university’s scholarship committee. The committee considers your financial need and your essay, where you explain your educational background, your work experience and your career goals. The essay is judged on originality, composition, clarity and significance.

Who usually applies

The scholarship is meant for applicants with a clear professional direction, for example:

  • Working professionals with experience in biotechnology, biomedical engineering, the pharmaceutical industry or healthcare who are ready for their next step.
  • Recent graduates with a strong academic record in fields related to our graduate programs.
  • Candidates who can explain how their specialization will turn into a concrete contribution to their career and to the industry.

How to apply

To be considered for the scholarship, you need to:

  1. Meet Aleph University’s established admissions standards.
  2. Provide details about your yearly household income.
  3. Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from people who are not family members or close friends.
  4. Send a 500 to 800 word autobiographical essay describing your educational background, career experience and future career goals.

To keep the scholarship, students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 during the spring and fall semesters, meet the university’s Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements, stay in good financial standing for any tuition and fees the scholarship does not cover, and follow all other university policies. The full conditions are on our Financial Aid page.

Why Aleph University

A scholarship only matters if the program behind it is worth it. This is what sets us apart:

  • Synchronous classes, not just recordings. You work in real time with faculty and classmates in structured sessions, with the flexibility of studying online.
  • Faculty who work in the industry and bring practical experience in regulatory affairs, quality and innovation in healthcare technologies.
  • 100% online and designed for working professionals, so you can study without pausing your career.
  • Programs focused on employability and built around the frameworks the industry uses, such as FDA 510(k), EU MDR and ISO 13485.

Internship at Sigma Scientific’s laboratories

Our students can also apply for an internship at the laboratories of Sigma Scientific (Sigma Biomedical), the medical device safety and performance testing laboratory that gave rise to Aleph University. Few master’s programs in healthcare technologies can offer this.

Sigma Scientific is accredited by A2LA under ISO/IEC 17025 and recognized by the FDA under the ASCA program as a medical device safety testing laboratory, with more than 30 years of combined experience in engineering, regulatory affairs and quality. Its work covers acoustic, electrical, materials, endoscope and physiotherapy systems testing, plus product development and regulatory consulting for markets such as FDA, COFEPRIS, ANMAT, ANVISA and INVIMA.

For an Aleph student, this means applying what you learn in class in a real testing, compliance and device development setting, next to a team that works with these standards every day.
